(SACK) TUFF - Great Bend

The Self Advocate Coalition of Kansas (SACK) is a statewide advocacy group made up of adults with developmental disabilities, the majority of whom receive services through the Kansas Developmental Disabilities Service System. SACK encourages and teaches people to speak up for themselves and to obtain the highest possible level of independence.

For families having a child with 5P- Syndrome, a genetic disorder characterized by a high-pitched cry. Dedicated to facilitating the flow of information among affected families and medical professionals. Support groups can be located through this site, parent to parent connections as well as sibling connections are offered. Newsletters, annual meetings, and family listing available as well.

9 to 5, National Association of Working Women

Support, advocacy, and legislative assistance on issues that affect women who work. Phone support, conferences, newsletters, and group development guidelines. Hotline organizers can advise women on how to make changes in their jobs.

A-T Children's Project

A-T Children's Project is a nonprofit organization that raises funds to support and coordinate biomedical research projects, scientific conferences and a clinical center aimed at finding life-improving therapies and a cure for ataxia-telangiectasia (A-T).

ABCD: After Breast Cancer Diagnosis - Support

ABCD provides free, personalized information and one-to-one support to people affected by breast cancer – patients, families and friends.
