(SACK) TUFF - Great Bend

The Self Advocate Coalition of Kansas (SACK) is a statewide advocacy group made up of adults with developmental disabilities, the majority of whom receive services through the Kansas Developmental Disabilities Service System. SACK encourages and teaches people to speak up for themselves and to obtain the highest possible level of independence. 

1st Way Life Center

We can help any woman or girl to find medical, legal or psychological help as well as shelter, education and adoption guidance as desired through our network. Complete confidentially is guaranteed and our services are free.

4P-Parent Contact Group

Supporting individuals with a 4th chromosome condition and their families by providing information, education and support; uniting families, researchers, and professionals; and promoting awareness, understanding and research of 4p-syndrome, with Wolf-Hirschhorn Syndrome as the main condition.

5P Society

For families having a child with 5P- Syndrome, a genetic disorder characterized by a high-pitched cry. Dedicated to facilitating the flow of information among affected families and medical professionals. Support groups can be located through this site, parent to parent connections as well as sibling connections are offered. Newsletters, annual meetings, and family listing available as well.

A-T Children's Project

Ataxia-telangiectasia (A-T) is a genetic disease that causes loss of muscle control and balance, cancer, lung disease and immune system problems in children and young adults, shortening their lives. The nonprofit A-T Children’s Project partners with academic and industry investigators worldwide – organizing and supporting innovative research, conferences, clinical teams, data platforms and biomarkers – to optimize disease management strategies, develop new treatments and find a cure. Online support is available through a private Facebook group run by A-T parents.

ABCD: After Breast Cancer Diagnosis - Support

ABCD provides free, personalized information and one-to-one support to people affected by breast cancer – patients, families and friends.
